This course discusses about nature of light. The lectures are arranged in chronological order describing different views of scientists on light. The chapter starts with discussion of corposcular theory and wave theory. Later we will be discussing EM theory of light. After that we will be discussing black body radiation in detail and a glimpse of photoelectric effect.  The course is concluded with the discussion of some interesting things about light.
